Is That All There Is To It?

According to the ancient Mayans, the world was supposed to end today. And, being an optimist, I was rather looking forward to it. But, it doesn't appear that it's going to happen. My theory on the subject is that the ancient Mayan that was working on the calendar got tired of his wife constantly saying, "Are you still working on that stupid calendar? You're never going to be finished with it! And, you've got it so far out there that we're never going to see those days anyway, so what does it matter to us. I wish you would just find something else to do for a change." So being fed up with it all, he said, "OK, that's it. I'm done. It'll just have to stay that way. Someone else will have to finish it!" And, here we are!
