Enjoying the Wamth of the Sunshine

To see these beautiful butterflies this afternoon was a joy to see.. as it has been a sad day.

My best friend Susan, lost her son suddenly last week and the funeral was today. On the way home I aksed John to stop at Abberly Park. The Monarch butterflies sometimes spend their winters there. In the past few years their numbers have fallen by 90% because of rats... they seem to think they eat them. This year they have taken measures to stop the rats climbing the trees. Hope it will be a success.
