Babies Waiting

Due to my canon 500D taking a wee swim in the sea, insurance has just supplied me with a brand new 600D. Very exciting. It arrived today and, although I have already upgraded to a 7D and this is just my spare camera, it seemed necessary to have a wee play.

As you can see from this shot, I still haven't got the settings etc sorted. My shots of these three baby tauhou (silvereyes/waxeyes) are all either drastically under or over exposed. However this is the first time I've ever seen babies lined up waiting for Mum and Dad to arrive with lunch, so they have to be my blip. I actually had my head buried in the totara tree trying to spot a grey warbler that had been darting about, when I spotted these triplets.

You will of course note that one of them is not as clued up as the others and he's facing the wrong way - hope he still manages to get himself fed!

Seeing them in large may let a little more light on the subject.
