The Wall

All in all it's just another brick in the wall

In true Vietnamese style - the wall goes up before the actual structure inside the wall. Even before the steps have been built - up a steep slippery hill side no less! For weeks we have been watching the labourers cart load after load after brick up this steep path on our way to work each day. Beats me why they even need to build a wall in the first place - as the actual structure they are supposed to be building there is simply a new water tank! If you look at the wall closely it even looks like they'll be putting barbed wire along the top of it too! But it doesn't look like they are building a wall on the other side of the path? Go Figure...

I don't think I will ever understand the reasonings behind the way some things are done in this country...
