Quite pleased with this new planter. It has been suggested that I get a complete set but, as the Rapa Nui people made more than 900 of them on Easter Island, unfortunately I don’t think this will be either practical or affordable. This one looks a bit like Sideshow Bob to me.

In other news, we’re going to walk down to the polling station this evening to exercise our democratic right. There’s a somewhat uninspiring choice in this constituency, though, with three Conservatives, three Labour, one UKIP and two ‘Justice-something’ candidates who are just trying to prevent a housing development where they live.
