Election day

It’s local council elections in England today so I was up at 6 delivering leaflets for our local labour candidate, who is a friend and also a member of the Pilates class I attend. After the early morning delivering I spent an hour and a half outside my local polling station taking polling numbers to help with getting the Labour vote out later today. It was quite quiet - which wasn’t unexpected, people are fed up with politics after the Brexit fiasco which of course continues. The sign on the door amused me; I can’t imagine there’s any likelihood of a queue at10.00 tonight but you never know!
