Travelodge?

A full-on day at the Rosie hospital, Addenbrooke’s. I met the consultant who will be carrying out my “hysteria-ectumy” next Wednesday, MRSA results permitting. So young and so professional, she spelt out what should happen, what could happen and the fact it will take me a long time to recover.

Bloods taken, ECG etc., etc., it was 5 pm before we got back home.

A CT scan is booked in Bedford tomorrow afternoon, to check the cancer hasn’t spread to any organs.

This isn’t really a Travelodge, but the new Papworth heart hospital, which opened yesterday on the Addenbrooke’s site.
