It's That Time Again......

It's our first night at Center Parcs and what a lovely day we've had!!
We got here at about Noon and were sat in Starbucks within minutes enjoying the first praline mocha lattes, cappucinos and babycinos of the holiday. Yummy!!
And we made the very happy discovery that Starbucks brownies are gluten free and a big hit with the Little Misses. Phew!
Miss E was so sweet on the journey up when we stopped for snacks. She saw me looking at the ingredients on crisps and said "you're making sure there's no gluten in it aren't you?" and then she told Miss L that she couldn't have Hula Hoops because there's gluten in them and will make her tummy poorly. She's a fantastic big sister.
After Starbucks we went straight to the pool and had a fab few hours splashing about, sliding down slides, jumping in the waves, swimming outside, chasing squirty fish, squeezing in another Starbucks......
It is so much easier now Miss E is more independent in the water. A little bit too independent sometimes!! It makes me so proud to see her swimming so well.
Eventually when our wrinkly hands and feet couldn't get any more wrinkly it was back for dinner (our first foray into gluten free pasta. A success!!!), a faffy bedtime with over excited, over-tired children who were sharing a rooom and giddy to discover that there were multiple light switches to be madly switched!
But eventually by about 8.30pm all was quiet so the Baileys was poured, the chips and dips came out (along with the Maltesers and chocolate biscuits!) and a lovely relaxing evening was had.
