origami ninja warriors

I always teach my students in India origami...it's relatively cheap, requiring only a sheet of paper. Young and old enjoy doing it, it also teaches them about three dimensional spatial relations and...well its fun! We always use plain paper as part of the lesson is for them to decorate it and go crazy with colour and pattern. The thing i like most of all is that the minute the lesson is finished, they race off to teach their pals how to make whatever form they have just learned...a little sharing of knowledge is a really a beautiful thing...
