We have to blame the manager. He left the star player on the bench and, by the time 5 minutes had passed and he rectified his mistake, we were 2-0 down. It did settle down after that and the final score stayed at 2-0.
To be fair, they were worthy winners.

So another runner’s up medal. Oh well.

The picture (thanks Chris Valentine ) showed me making use of the wet grass to slide tackle Mr Macca. Half a second later he landed on me and, as I write this, a week later, I still have a big lump on my shin.
