Möllevångstorget

Our younger daughter has very kindly moved in with her boyfriend, giving us the full use of her flat for the next week. Her flat is in a multicultural area of Malmö, called Möllevången, or Mölle for short. This area was built as a workers area, and now has a high concentration of immigrants (Z and her boyfriend being 2 of these).

Just across the road from her flat is a square called Möllevångstorget, where there is a market every day. And around the area are large numbers of restaurants, we could eat out every day of our stay in a different country.

We have been quite weary today, so apart from a brief trip out this morning to do some shopping we have had a lazy day. This evening we ventured out to one of the recommended local restaurants, passing through the market square en route. This is a statue entitled "In honour of labour" in Möllevångstorget.
