Violets are Blue

I completed my Winter bird survey in late March and today I did my Breeding Bird Survey on the same 1 km square. The highlights were 4 Siskin on someone’s garden feeder and Whitethroat singing loudly from a tree. As usual, I like to travel light so no camera, so this shot of violets by the roadside near the spot where I captured Primroses last time was take on my phone. I’ve edited in a bit of a colour boost.
