And Now The End Is Near...

Today is local elections day in England. Throughout the country new councils are being elected, new councillors created and existing ones hoping to retain their posts.

My service as a Councillor comes to an end at midnight. I have my whiskey ready.

The past four years have been interesting and challenging, but I am not a politician at heart and am content to leave such things to those who are. From now on, I shall be spending more time with my ukulele.
