Before and After

We left our holiday accommodation this morning and made our way home.  An uneventful motorway journey with some very heavy rain showers towards Stratford.

I didn't have much time to take many pics this morning, just a few snaps.  The 'before' picture is in the extras and shows the houses on Back Beach as they were in 1947. The 'after' is the main picture showing them as they are today.

Incidentally, the house in the old picture in the shadow is where we were staying in the ground floor apartment. The house at the end is now the Crab Shack restaurant, see second extra.
