Some of you did comment that my link from yesterday's blip to the pic of Emma's shoes didn't work as it was to my FB page. So I re-photographed the shoes, and played about with lighting and post processing!

Actually, they are remarkably well balanced - the centre of gravity comes down the leg and finishes mid-sole, so Emma could walk remarkably well in them; add to that they made her taller than me, her (taller) friends and even her boyfriend, and she had a permanent smile on her face.

They are pretty amazing, although I don't think I'd try them on the hills!
