Dancing in the Streets

We voluntarily got up at 4.30am to head into Oxford city centre to take part in the Mayday celebrations. We listened to the Eucharist and a blessing delivered from the roof of one of the colleges. Then we wandered the streets which were thronged with Morris dancers, Celtic dancers, bands, and people offering cakes on swords (you had to be there!). A lovely breakfast in the covered market and we were in the office for 8.30am!
