Mandatory training

I travelled to Whitehaven today for more mandatory training. According to our trainer we have to do 72 hours of training per year, that's nearly 2 weeks full time. When I qualified in 1987 we did 5 days over 5 years, how things have changed - for the better of course.

It was a good day, I learnt lots of new stuff and was able to network with midwives that I don't see very often. We even had a laugh or two!

I'd dropped mum off at her friends before going up to the hospital - she had a good day too, credit to her for the shot.
