The Greatest Englishman
We had an unexpected outing yesterday. Our daughter needs our fold up tables for her Christmas meal and as we have more time than she does we offered to deliver them and after some research Alan thought me could make a day of it. After dropping tables and other supplies off we enjoyed the first part of A's googling with lunch in a pub in Westerham where I took this photo.
Then to Chartwell which we had to ourselves. There was a talk about his paintings in the studio (one other person present) and then a small exhibition. I enjoyed the calm and beautiful surroundings so much I didn't even think about a photograph. The house was closed for the winter.
Then home for mulled wine.
