Paris Tokyo
Today I worked at the Bnf's music library on rue de Louvois. On the way there I walked through a Japanese neighbourhood (rue Sainte-Anne & rue Thérèse) that was a new discovery for me. I got lunch in the area at a nice Japanese bakery.
I read composer Gabriel Fauré's letters to Louise Cruppi, which unfortunately were more about setting up times to get together or cancelling social plans than anything else, though he did try to get her to intercede on behalf of a former student of his whose book was in the running for the prix Vie heureuse... More interesting were Cruppi's letters to Nadia Boulanger.
