Flower Friday: Iris

We've certainly had a flower Friday, spending most of the morning at our favourite garden centre, stocking up on a few perennials and bedding plants; this afternoon I started moving one or two shrubs that have become pot bound into the ground to give them a bit more room.

This solitary iris has been a bit of a late bloomer. It was blowing about inthe wind so I thought I'd use the movement and a bit of a longer shutter speed to try and create a more abstract effect.
