House museum

Today enjoyed a visit to the home of Sir John Soane in Lincoln’s Inn Field. He was a neo-classical architect who was the son of a bricklayer. He bought three adjoining houses to display his collection of statues and other artefacts which would inspire his students. His best known building was the Bank of England
