It's a jungle out there

I've nearly finished my crocheted scarf and thought I'd should do a proper job of it and block it - all 1000 metres of it.  I had a drive to Black Sheep Wool to get some blocking pins and must have had about 10 separate conversations in the shop, generally all about the relative merits of 'want' as opposed to 'need'!  

If you ever need some company, go to a wool shop and the conversations will start as soon as you pick up a ball of wool.  And if you sit down in the cafe with a brew and your latest project, you might end up chatting for most of the day!!

I saw these metal sculptures last time I drove to the wool shop so knew exactly where to pull over to get my blip for the day.  I loved the sign, "open when we're here, closed when we ain't".
