D of E at home

Another week another D of E trip.
This time its a rare bronze level canoe  trip. 
These kids don't HAVE to do a practice expedition. That doesn't mean they don't NEED  one! 
It's nice to be at "home"though. Travelling along Loch Tay.
Today has been an intense one trying to give them all the canoeing and wild camping skills they need for their unaccompanied qualifying expedition tommorow. We're all tired!  They've done really well in tricky conditions today. 
Settling in for a cold night - there's fresh snow on the hills!
