Don't Let the Sunshine Fool You!

A cold wind from the north, along with wintery showers this morning.  Some sunny spells, and a sunny evening, with the odd snowy shower.  

A day working on the museum desk, and it's been a busy day with the poor weather, and also the Folk Festival has started.  I managed a dry lunchtime walk about town.  Walkies with Sammy around Scalloway this evening, and then mam and dad popped by with Elise.  They've been showing some of their holiday snaps from Holland. 

Our walk this evening stayed dry, and sunshine all the way, but don't let the sunshine fool you, it was freezing!  I was amazed that these tulips have survived the gales today, as mine have been battered, and past their best now.  Taken at the Scalloway Castle.
