Dwarf larkspur
Wednesday
I think there had been quite a bit of rain while we were gone, so the priority for Roger this morning was cutting the grass, while I was unpacking and doing laundry. Then, having spent most of yesterday in the car, it was time for some exercise, so we headed to the bike trail. The temperature was pleasant, but it was very blustery, and having passed one downed tree across the trail, and hearing another one crash down off the trail behind us at one point, we decided it would be best to turn around, making a total of 15 miles return. Wild purple phlox and dwarf larkspur were flowering in abundance along the trail.
