Don't just drive past...

We had a morning walk by the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge (see extra) before heading back to Glasgow. I've seen some fantastic photos of Rannoch moor and so, as we were in a long tail of traffic anyway, we decided to stop so I could have a play with my camera. 

I'm quite pleased with the way this turned out, better than expected, especially as this was taken only about 50m away from the road. I thought I might have had to trek across much more of the boggy ground. I will persuade Andrew to stop again another time, as it looks different every time the light changes, and it can look really spectacular in winter.
