Turbocharged!!!

Updating completed today with an hour long call to apple support (free of charge of course) to sort out a few issues with mail and my smart mailboxes.
So 16Gb of ram and a 500Gb solid state hard drive and it goes like a well greased cat off a hot shovel! Figuratively speaking of course - no cats were actually greased.
