Elk!

You do see strange things over here. We were at a meeting and entered the premises through a back door. On exiting, we went through the main lobby and this is the sight that greeted us. A Rocky Mountain Elk no less. Who would have thought? But why?? All I can say is, it is in amazing shape.

That was the morning. We came home for lunch and I have no idea why, but I just seem to be so tired, so had a bit more decadence in an afternoon nap.

We met up with friends Mary and Elizabeth for dinner at our favourite restaurant. A few hours vanished with catching up on the last few weeks.

Oh, forgot to record, the living room a/c had its annual service today. It's been making a high pitched noise for a while, something the technician picked up immediately. He said it needed a new motor, but was able to repair it in situ, so that was awesome. :)
