I see no sea!

We set off in glorious sunshine, which lasted the first two hours. We then hit torrential rain where we could hardly see the cars in front. It varied between sunshine and rain for the rest of the day. 

I had upgraded slightly to a sea view room. As we approached the hotel on the harbour I said to mum "you can't get nearer the sea than that", then we turned the corner and realised the tide was out! 

The hotel car park was full and the lobby was heaving. I had to queue for 45 minutes just to check in! The room is ok even if the rest of the hotel is not quite what I had imagined.
