Everything but the Fungi

Today my Fungus group had a joint outing with our Botany group. Unfortunately no one had told the fungi we were going. We had an excellent turnout of 15, which surprised us as it was quite a distance from the city on the Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire / South Yorkshire border. We also had a couple of bug men and a gall specialist join us. We saw a huge range of plants and invertebrates and despite the cold weather, it was a most enjoyable outing.
