THE RACE IS ON

Soaking wet and freezing ! A grand double header today as both the Men’s and Women’s Races of the 2019 Tour de Yorkshire passed nearby. One minute the skies were deep blue and the next thunderously black, and all the time the wind blew and blew. But I have to say . . . by eck . . . Yorkshire did look grand ! So proud to call this stage home.
Huge congrats to Marianne Voss, from Holland, as overall winner the Women’s Two Day Race and to Alexander Kamp, from Denmark, in winning this stage of the Men’s Race.  Extra images on my Photo Blog.
