Dogwood Flowers

An overhead view of the small dogwood outside our back entry, seen here framing the azaleas along the fence. More of the same dull weather, although with almost no rain (more apparently coming tomorrow). A day for sports: First Liverpool scored a late goal to beat Newcastle and go ahead of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League (though probably just temporarily). A sad note was a serious head injury to Mohammed Salah (Liverpool's top forward) in a collision with the opposing goalkeeper. Later the Boston Bruins prevailed 4-3 over Columbus in a wild third period--each team scored three goals, with the Bruins' winner coming with barely a minute left to play.  In the NBA Golden State is still playing Houston--I probably won't stay up for the end of that
