School drop and then straight off out into a bike ride - 50+km as it turned out.
Mostly around the 'hood and then by lunchtime I engineered some time to grab birthday gifts that had been delivered to a well known retail emporium; and off up to Her to drop them off to be wrapped. 
We headed out to town; I grabbed Her bike from work and we reconvened at Boots; before I scooted off home; and eventually J Dawg showed up for a cruise about the badlands. Much lying and deception ensued, but I think we've got it nailed. Or will have in due course.

Eventually made it home and a speedy ride up to fetch the boys was interspersed with a quick chat wiv da Princess and then home for lasagne. 

Tom was off to Gaelic fitba for an hour in the cold and dreary grey; and then all in to bathe and wind down with some snooker (in)action on the TV
