Tour de Yorkshire!

Today was Stage 4 of the Tour de Yorkshire, the stage named The Yorkshire Classic. It began in the spectacular location of The Piece Hall in Halifax which I am sure looked amazing. I'll be watching on the TV footage later and don't want to have a sneaky peak yet...I may end up finding out the winner! It then headed out to Brontë Country up the Main Street of Haworth, just for cobbles sake!! :-P They then headed out to Goose Eye for the first big climb of the day. 

Dad and I followed much of this route and watched the race on Goose Eye. It was a brilliant place to be, it's always a wonderful atmosphere with a real community feel. It's also a great treat to see the professionals ride the roads you ride frequently...they really are incredibly talented! 

This evening's big event is the final episode of this series of Line of Duty. A 90 minute special, and on a no school tomorrow Bank Holiday Sunday, absolute perfection!!
