Unexpected But Welcome Sight.

The dull and cold start to the day obviously put off takers for the three mile guided walk on the canal. When the due time had come and gone we (Mrs A S on are Sunday off) set off to walk the route anyway and poo and litter pick. Upon reaching Coates lock there moored under the bridge was a cruiser I had heard was in the system. So good to see that people are coming from a far to use the extended waterway, being a cruiser it had made it passed the head of navigation as being relatively short is able to turnaround! On the way back the unfertilised meadows were boasting quite a show of Cowslips (see extras). The Pen is still sat firm with no sign of hatchlings yet!
