Lilac Posy

I always thought lilac flowers came on big stems that would stand up in a vase. Not my experience today. Finally found a little posy pot in which to arrange them but they do look rather 'plonked in.' I'm wondering if the light shining on the backdrop takes the eye rather than the posy itself.

Bits and pieces of admin before heading to gym. Gratified to  note that my heart rate has gone down while walking on the treadmill. I must be getting fitter. AND I can reach the straps on the bike to anchor my feet on to the pedals. Always had to ask someone else to do that for me before.

I thought the glass of sherry was a nice addition. I'm going to go and drink it now.

Basil is snoring on the bed.
