Lilac Wine

I always liked the song Lilac Wine. I remember Elkie Brooks sang it in the 70s. But according to wiki it was first recorded by Eartha Kitt in 1953!

When I heard Elkie.'s version I used to think I would like to know what lilac wine tasted like......probably like a lot of homemade wine.....awful and only fit to go down the sink!
