Faded Courage.

Whilst out walking, we passed this old pub in Tilehurst. If you look below the sign, at the green painted bricks, you can see the gold letters G & E. This is the remainder of a painted sign for a long gone local brewery - Courage. Many pubs in the area had these signs, their logo was a golden cockerel on an orange sign.
