Triceratops

The Bug has had a good day today. Lots of time painting, drawing, cycling, and building. He has actively been stiving for 'good' behaviour today, which is a nice turnaround after him twice charging at/pushing over the Bear yesterday.

A good day for food - leftover waffles, pea and mint soup, spiced almonds and carnitas. We do much less interesting cooking than we used to pre-children, so it's nice to make the effort sometimes. Effort and energy and in short supply at the moment!

I am feeling a bit dismayed by environmental issues at the moment. I care and try to do small things to help, but I still struggle, I can still do more. It just makes me feel a bit hopeless that so many people don't care, and do nothing, are thoroughly blinkered, and are blinded with consumerism. Blurg. I am quite sure I am not alone on this one though!
