Buttercups on the Towpath

So, a bit of a change from the May Day Bank Holiday weekend last year, which was the warmest on record in this area.  Today was reportedly one of the coldest.  Certainly, we had a few more clothes on as we walked along the Shropshire Union canal between Bilbrook and Brewood. 

Still, it was the first time I've seen buttercups this year, so spring is still progressing.
