Mum

Every time I see my mum she looks younger than she did on my previous visit. Or it could all be relative and it's just that I'm ageing faster? She'll be 87 this summer and to witness her busy online life was extraordinary - playing scrabble with relatives in far corners of the world while talking away with me. One of my most vivid childhood memories is that of my mum knitting up extraordinarily complex designs while watching the television. Her multi-tasking abilities have always been beyond mine.
