Rainier

On Rainier Avenue mid morning (early morning for us) to go watch Nik’s basketball game today. (Oskar’s yesterday) and what do we see!  “She’s OUT” on a gorgeous day!   Terrible game ..some special extra  league ..the team doesn’t know each other, the coaches change..…but we ARE supportive grandparents.  I think not only of the grandkid (extras) but more for the kid’s Dad here (our son) who couldn’t watch and had to leave at a certain point.   (He ’s a very good basketball player but says he couldn’t coach these kids…it's painful for him to watch:-)))   We do wonder about this program and what are the gains…Never anything like it when we or our kids played sports…..
The most fun part  was the little blond (a teammate’s sister)  in the extra kept asking many questions of H who very nicely tried to explain this game and it’s troubles to her…


Got a few things done with the nice day, including our drip watering system for plants in pots which we are in need of as there is no rain in sight.   Happy to not be doing it the day before we leave for the summer.!
