Finally !

There are 3 wrens around - and two of them are setting up in the apple trees- one in C's yard  in her birdhouse , and one on our bird house above. I haven't had a chance to clean it out since it has rained so much . It still has last year's nest in it, but now it appears to be too late to clean house! Unfortunately it was 8 Am , very cloudy and raining lightly  so the ISO is 800 and the shutter speed too low, so a not very sharp wren is today's offering.
We did get to have dinner with some old and very dear friends who now  live in the southwest and were in for their son's graduation from med school this weekend. That was wonderful to be able to see them , even though it was only  for a short time.
