Pahiatua Town Bridge
About 20kms north of where I live is a small rural town called Pahiatua, in New Zealand. The town has a population of about 4,000 people. One way to travel to Palmerston North is through the Pahiatua Track. The Pahiatua Town Bridge is on this road and was built 1931 - 1932 during the Great Depression. It spans over the Mangatainoka River. Under the bridge is unsuitable for swimming due to it being a nesting area for dotterel and trout spawning. The bridge has now been classified as a "Historic Place Category 1". I took photos of it due to its shapes.
