Juvenile Exposure

Dawn

Today we had to sadly leave Chamonix and head home to the flooded countryside. Today's photo is of the alley as we were heading into Geneva. This photo is taken from the car window but the sky was so magnificent and the trees just emerging through the mist was beautiful.
We had to leave at 7 o'clock this morning, so we managed to capture the sun coming over the mountains but still see the valley mist cover the floor. When we left the house it was -6 degrees outside so was a shock to the system after being in bed like 15mins before setting off.
All the times I have been to Geneva Airport, I have never seen it so busy, it was quite entertaining to be part of the the Xmas hustle and bustle of everyone desperately trying to hold their nerves together and keep calm while trying to get home. Flight was delayed by almost an hour so there were a lot of moaning Brits walking around the departure gate.
Finally landed into Bournemouth where mum and Rupert were waiting for us. Great to see them and will be spending the evening relaxing and catching up :D .
