Train Ride #2

So today we headed off to Cheltenham to get on the Great Western and Swindon Railway (see what they did there to get the GWR in there!). A ride on a steam train up to Winchcombe. A mince pie, a cup of tea and then a visit to Father Christmas for Oliver.

Oliver really enjoyed his trip, and it was further improved by his present from Father Christmas plus an opportunity to get up on to the footplate of the steam engine and shovel some coal into the firebox.

I think we are pretty much set for Christmas now, with 'the big food shop' having been completed on the way back from Cheltenham. We have some friends coming over for mince pies and mulled wine tomorrow.
