Shutting the stable door, after the horse has gone

Only saw John in the gym this morning, although the others did text to say they weren't coming.  Walked to town afterwards to collect an order from Boots. There were still a few stalls around, although not as many as yesterday. There were no buses running, so I phoned J to come & pick me up. After lunch, J cut the lawns, and I pottered around the house.I was a bit disappointed with the last episode of Line of Duty last night, although we know there will be another series in the future, although I will probably have forgotten all about this series by then.
