Rue des jardins

There are few gardens in the old village which is a maze of steep streets too narrow for any vehicular traffic. There is, however, one street that has small gardens set below it and I spotted these colourful poppies in a garden next to the one with the irises I blipped yesterday.
I spent the morning doing some gardening and packing before setting off to join the painting group.  Today I did a watercolour of the boats at Brancaster Staithe in Norfolk.
