Burnt out

It was an interesting birthday outing for Normous. We visited Clandon Park, the Palladian mansion that had a disastrous fire in 2015. The National Trust now admits visitors to the edge of a few of the burnt out rooms and it is a very sad sight. We had to wear hard hats and high viz jackets - Normous looks good in his, see extra.
My sister and b.i.l are still with us and we ate out yet again! We had a good lunch in a nearby pub. They go home tomorrow and I shall have to start cooking again!
