Rooftops

Finally arrived home in the early hours of this morning after the flight was delayed leaving Nice...it was certainly much chillier although today has been mostly sunny and quite warm. 36 miles walked over 5 days...thank goodness I’m booked in for a pedicure tomorrow!!

Washing all done; house tidied and an online grocery shop ordered....life returns to normal very quickly!! Work in the garden has progressed whilst I was away and the banking had been dug out right up to the house where there’s a retaining wall already in place.

Collage today is our rooftops from the top of the garden; the first gabions (for those who didn’t know what they were) completed this afternoon and one last rooftop shot of Nice old town from yesterday.
